What does Pacesetter Manufacturing build?
Pacesetter builds custom lowbed (lowboy) and heavy-haul trailers, along with boosters, jeeps, trombone extendable trailers and paving trailers. Every trailer is built to your spec, not down an assembly line.
What trailer capacities does Pacesetter offer?
Pacesetter builds custom lowbed trailers from 35 to 85 ton, with 55 to 75 ton the everyday range. Its standout build is an 85 ton, 13 axle combination with a remote bump-steer booster; the rig carries over 200,000 pounds all in.
Are Pacesetter trailers custom-built?
Yes. There is no assembly line in the Pacesetter shop. Every trailer is handcrafted and built to your exact specification, from the QT-100 steel frame to the smallest weld, and Pacesetter says yes to 95 to 99 percent of custom requests.

What is a booster, and how is it different from a jeep?
A booster is an axle attachment that connects at the rear of the lowbed to add capacity for heavier, permitted loads. A jeep attaches at the front of the lowbed for the same purpose. Pacesetter builds both, matched to your trailer and your spec.
What booster styles does Pacesetter build?
Pacesetter builds four booster styles: pin-on, slingshot, fish mouth and nitrogen, plus jeeps. Each one is built and matched to your trailer, to your spec.
What is a trombone (extendable) trailer?
A trombone is an extendable trailer whose deck stretches from 27 to 46 feet on rollers and air. Pacesetter builds it for crane loads at the docks and ports.
What are Pacesetter trailer frames made of?
Pacesetter trailers are built on a QT-100 high-tensile steel frame, with premium components that are each stamped and approved, and rigorous quality control on every build.
How durable are Pacesetter trailers?
Pacesetter's first trailer, built in 2008, is still working with not even a crack after more than ten years. The trailers hold their resale value because owners keep them.
Does Pacesetter offer a warranty?
Yes. Our warranty is our word: if something is not right, we make it right. Pacesetter stands behind every build, years after it leaves the yard.
Does Pacesetter deliver trailers outside British Columbia?
Yes. Pacesetter has local roots in British Columbia and builds and delivers trailers across North America.
Can Pacesetter build an unusual or one-off custom request?
Yes. Special attachments, a specific pin, or a six-inch change at the bumper are exactly the jobs Pacesetter takes. Where the big manufacturers will not retool for one customer, Pacesetter says yes to 95 to 99 percent of requests and makes it right if something is not.
Can I watch my trailer being built?
Yes. Pacesetter runs an open door shop in Langley, BC: customers watch their trailer being built and change details right on the floor.
